Pro Tips & Favorite Spots

Breach Inlet
This is a popular place for locals and visitors alike. Resting in between the Isle of Palms and Sullivan’s Island, it’s very accessible and always a great time.
Public parking is available on both sides of the inlet. Fishing is permitted from the bridge but swimming and wading are not allowed. Strong rip currents are often found here and there are fines for being in the water.

Fort Moultrie
This national park isn’t just a great spot to visit, but also provides great access to the harbor end of Sullivan’s Island. The parking area at Station 12 is as close as you’ll get to parking on the beach. Jetties every hundred feet give this spot a different feel from the rest of the island.

Pitt Street Bridge
Located in Mount Pleasant’s beautiful Old Village, Pitt Street Bridge gives beautiful views and a fun fishing outing. Here you can fish, crab and cast from the edge of the marsh and into the intracoastal from the end of the bridge. This place is guaranteed fun for the whole family.
